AZZA Scottsdale

This 8200 square foot home is a unique blend of modern, fanciful, and timeless.  The original 4200 sqft home on this property, built by the father of the current owners in the 1980s,  was demolished to make room for this full basement multi-generational home. To preserve memories of growing up in this home we salvaged many items and incorporated them in fun ways.

  • The original front door became a barn door into the home gym
  • Leaded stained glass window became a fun fixture in the powder room / rear patio
  • Copper strips from the original fireplace were re-used at the garage entry
  • 1908s “all-transistor” radio and turntable were refurbished, given Bluetooth pairing, and installed in the basement game room
  • Cork paneling from the original entry was re-purposed into the basement art studio entrance
  • Soaring tongue and groove ceiling with beams was re-created in the new home

Very cool features of the home:

  • 22 ft tall soaring vaulted ceiling in the main public area
  • LED-backlit onyx stone bar with floating glass shelves
  • 2 sides floor to ceiling glass wine storage
  • Full basement with game room, art room, bunk bedroom, full bath
  • 5 ensuite bedrooms with unique themes (with full bathrooms)
  • 8 bathrooms total in the home
  • Overt the top BBQ ramada with stereo, misting, TV, bar top, every possible BBQ appliance
  • Putting green
